2022 murder suspect Juan Baron seeks to withdraw guilty plea, plead not guilty, and reset trial.

Juan Baron, charged with second-degree murder for the 2022 killing of his 73-year-old lover Gary Ruby, is seeking to withdraw his guilty plea made in March as part of a plea deal. He now wishes to enter not guilty pleas and reset the case for trial. Baron, who also faces identity theft and theft charges, confessed to the crime, which involved placing Ruby's body in a concrete-filled bathtub. A hearing on his motion is scheduled for next Tuesday.
