A Diamond DA40 aircraft from LIFT Training Academy made an emergency landing at Myrtle Beach International Airport on Tuesday after a door detached during takeoff at 2:53 p.m. The plane, carrying a pilot and a passenger, landed safely at 3:01 p.m. with no injuries reported. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident, marking the second emergency landing involving a plane from the same academy in South Carolina this year.
