Asian Development Bank allocates $109.5m for Issyk-Kul Ring Road Improvement Project in Kyrgyzstan.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has allocated $109.5 million to the Issyk-Kul Ring Road Improvement Project in Kyrgyzstan, enhancing a 75.2-kilometer stretch around Issyk-Kul Lake. The project will widen the road from two to four lanes and integrate climate-resilient design features. Aimed at improving transportation safety and access, it seeks to boost economic growth, job creation, and tourism in the region. Completion is projected by 2028.
