NEMA distributes relief for Nigerian school collapse; NDDC constructs shelters, combats crime.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) distributed relief materials to families affected by the July 12, 2024, school building collapse in Plateau State, Nigeria, aiming to support the bereaved. Meanwhile, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is constructing emergency shelters in Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers states to assist flood victims, featuring schools and other facilities. Additionally, NDDC is implementing initiatives to combat crime and empower local youth.
