Blue Cross has pledged $5 million, supplemented by $1.5 million from the state and $1 million in federal funds. The clinic will offer mental health services to all ages, regardless of insurance, while also serving as a training center for students in health-related fields. It aims to enhance access to behavioral health care in rural Minnesota.
