52-year-old Victor Hugo Escobedo arrested in El Paso for kidnapping, bank robbery, threatening victim's child.
Victor Hugo Escobedo, 52, was arrested in the Cielo Vista Mall parking lot in El Paso, Texas, on multiple aggravated kidnapping charges. He allegedly forced a 26-year-old woman, at gunpoint, to drive him to a bank, where he demanded money while threatening her 2-year-old daughter. Escobedo has been charged with aggravated robbery and two counts of aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon. Police are asking for public assistance in the investigation.
