Xcel Energy Colorado seeks permission to lower natural gas bills by 10.54% for residents and 11.08% for small businesses, effective October 1st.

Xcel Energy Colorado has requested permission from the Colorado Public Utilities Commission to lower natural gas bills for the final quarter of the year. If approved, residential customers could see a 10.54% decrease ($9.15), while small businesses may experience an 11.08% reduction ($42.04). Electric bills are expected to remain largely unchanged, with minor decreases for both residential and small business customers. The changes will take effect October 1st.
