The UK has launched an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system for non-British and Irish citizens, requiring a $13 fee for visits up to six months. The ETA will cover all visa-free travelers by April 2025, starting with certain Middle Eastern nationals in October 2023. The program aims to enhance border security and streamline travel. Additionally, from 2025, travelers from 60 visa-exempt countries, including the US, will need ETIAS authorization for Europe.
