A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Ford Explorer in Florence County, South Carolina, on Monday afternoon. The accident happened around 3 p.m. on Carmon Shortcut Road, near Jordan Church Road. The driver was unharmed, and the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
