Nigerian Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi announces birth of first child in Canada.
Nigerian Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi and her husband Okeoghene have welcomed their first child, announced via her social media on Tuesday. The baby was born in Canada. Okobi, who plays for Spanish club Levante Las Planas, has represented Nigeria in several tournaments, including the FIFA Women’s World Cup and WAFCON. She was notably absent from the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad and has not returned to the national team since.
