On Kalyana Karnataka Day, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched 119 projects worth Rs 1,012.34 crore in Kalaburagi, commemorating the 1948 merger of Hyderabad state with India. Aiming to develop Kalaburagi into a smart city, Rs 1,685 crore will be invested for infrastructure improvements. Other initiatives include road connectivity enhancements, health upgrades, and a focus on rural development, with total project allocations exceeding Rs 1,800 crore for the region.
