Irish President Michael D. Higgins, 83, has reported ongoing balance issues following a mild stroke earlier this year that affected his left side and worsened lower back problems. Although his cognitive abilities remain intact, he now uses walking sticks for support during his recovery. Speaking at the National Ploughing Championships, he expressed gratitude to the Irish public for their kindness and understanding as he adjusts to a slower pace.
