1:20 AM murder suspect fled into a downtown LA building, but not found after SWAT operation.
A murder suspect, initially thought to be barricaded in a downtown Los Angeles building, has not been located. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a witness report around 1:20 AM on Tuesday. After the suspect fled into a building on East Fifth Street, a SWAT team was deployed, and traffic was rerouted. By 7 AM, police confirmed the suspect was not inside, and the investigation continues.
