A two-alarm barn fire occurred early Tuesday morning in Strasburg Township, Lancaster County, engulfing the structure in flames and causing part of it to collapse. The fire, reported around 5:30 a.m., destroyed over 100 bales of hay and farm equipment. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people or animals. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Emergency crews responded with nine tankers to combat the blaze.
