The Bennettsville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Shady Rest area of South Carolina, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. Twenty-three-year-old Qualech Gaines was killed during a gathering, and another individual was hospitalized. The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is assisting in the investigation, but no arrests have been made thus far. The case remains ongoing.
