On September 15, Ballyglass RNLI launched its lifeboats to aid a 26-meter cutter vessel near the Mullet Peninsula in County Mayo, which had reportedly lost navigation and power. The Irish Coast Guard helicopter and local coast guard also responded. Upon arrival, the crew found the vessel had regained power and steering, allowing them to escort it safely to Blacksod Bay. Ballyglass RNLI emphasized the importance of preparation for sea trips.
