New South Wales (NSW) Premier Chris Minns has announced a $290 million Consumer Energy Strategy to assist households and small businesses in adopting energy-efficient technologies, including solar panels and batteries. The initiative aims to cut power bills by over $1,000 annually and reduce emissions. A Home Energy Saver program will launch by 2025, with goals of achieving one million solar and battery systems by 2035 and transitioning to 100% renewable energy by 2050.
