The US version of "The Traitors" won the Outstanding Reality Competition Program at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, defeating previous winner "RuPaul's Drag Race." Following this, rumors circulated that the Drag Race cast had staged a mass walkout in response. However, cast members clarified they only stepped out during a commercial break and remained until the ceremony's end. The Traitors' host, Alan Cumming, also won an Emmy for Outstanding Host.
