Cambodia has begun construction on its first Cyclotron Medical Center at Calmette Hospital in Phnom Penh, aimed at enhancing diagnosis and treatment, particularly for cancer patients. The two-story, 605 square meter facility will feature a cyclotron, which produces radioactive drugs for various diseases, including cancer and heart conditions. The project involves collaboration with experts from Archetype, G.E. HealthCare, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
