Lauren Matthews, a 22-year-old from Huxley, Iowa, was reported missing after her vehicle was found abandoned in a ditch on September 13. She was last seen on September 12. Authorities described her as 5'5", with long dark brown hair and blue eyes. The Story County Sheriff's Office and Huxley Police Department urged anyone with information to call them. Fortunately, Matthews has since been found safe, and authorities thanked the public for their support.
