Tasmania's Bass Highway undergoes "pothole blitz" due to weather damage, with Stornoway deploying crews for repairs.
Tasmania's Bass Highway will undergo a "pothole blitz" due to severe weather damage, as announced by Infrastructure Minister Jeremy Rockliff. Stornoway, a road contractor, will deploy three crews for repairs between Deloraine and Devonport and near Wynyard. Temporary fixes will precede permanent solutions, expected when warmer weather arrives. Other affected roads include the Lyell Highway and Highland Lakes Road. Residents can report hazards via a 24-hour hotline.
