The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested two individuals in Nigeria for attempting to export illegal drugs. Businesswoman Adewunmi Adebola Dorcas was apprehended for sending opioids to London, while auto parts dealer Arinze Ora was caught with cocaine destined for Congo Brazzaville. The NDLEA seized 924 bottles of codeine syrup and 5,250 Rohypnol tablets hidden in food shipments. Additional arrests included a freight agent and two brothers linked to drug trafficking.
