Morrissey accuses Johnny Marr of blocking 2024 Smiths releases and a 2025 reunion tour.
Morrissey has accused Johnny Marr, his former bandmate in The Smiths, of blocking the release of several projects, including a greatest hits album titled "Smiths Rule OK!" and a reissue of their debut single "Hand In Glove." These releases were planned for 2024 by Warner Records but were halted by Marr. Morrissey also claimed that Marr ignored a lucrative offer for a band reunion and tour in 2025. The Smiths disbanded in 1987.
