The Malta Developers Association (MDA) has put forward several proposals for the 2025 budget, including raising the national minimum wage to €1,100 and establishing a flat corporate tax rate of 15% for all businesses. They also suggest reducing tax rates for long-term rental properties to 5%, incentivizing property restoration, and simplifying regulations for foreign property buyers.
