Joss Naylor's bust by Paul Bainbridge sold for £2,100, benefiting Wasdale Mountain Rescue.

A bust of fell running icon Joss Naylor MBE sold for £2,100 at auction, exceeding its estimated value of £500-£800. Created by Cumbrian sculptor Paul Bainbridge in 2008, it honors Naylor's feat of running 70 Lake District fells on his 70th birthday. Proceeds will benefit Wasdale Mountain Rescue, where Naylor served as vice president. He passed away in June at age 88, with runners honoring him at his funeral.
