Center City Philadelphia convenience store employee critically injured during robbery, suspect arrested by SEPTA police.
A convenience store employee in Center City, Philadelphia, was critically injured while intervening during a robbery on North Broad Street. The suspect, armed with a box cutter, threatened staff and stole money before stabbing the intervening employee twice. SEPTA police apprehended the suspect nearby at 1500 Market Street. The injured employee was taken to Jefferson Hospital, and charges against the suspect are pending.
