Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland has reopened after a three-year, $60 million modernization, funded by voter-approved bonds. The renovation includes advanced medical and dental facilities, seismic upgrades, and sustainability features like a solar array and new trees. This project is part of a broader initiative, marking the sixth high school modernized since 2017. Next, Jefferson High School will begin construction in summer 2025.
