A recent Payscale report highlights music therapy as a highly fulfilling college major, with 95% of graduates believing their work improves the world. However, median incomes for music therapists stand at $49,400 within the first five years and $64,900 after a decade. The report also identifies nine other meaningful majors, including radiation and physical therapy, which offer median mid-career salaries exceeding $100,000.
