Kenya's EPRA maintains petrol and diesel prices despite fuel cost declines.
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) in Kenya has kept petrol and diesel prices stable for the next month, despite declines in the average landed costs of these fuels. Super petrol remains at Sh188.84 and diesel at Sh171.60 in Nairobi, while kerosene has decreased by Sh3.43 to Sh158.32 per litre. This decision follows a year of price reductions and a temporary halt on a higher Road Maintenance Levy. Overall inflation rose to 4.4% in August.
