Bengaluru contractor Chaluvaraju has accused BJP MLA Munirathna of issuing death threats and using abusive language over a contract dispute. Chaluvaraju claims Munirathna demanded a ₹20 lakh commission and threatened violence if he didn't comply. An audio clip of the alleged threats has gone viral. Congress leader DK Suresh has called for Munirathna's dismissal and an apology from the BJP. Two FIRs have been filed against the MLA at the Vyalikaval police station.
