Ashley Cole, former England left-back, has officially joined the Football Association (FA) as a full-time national coach at 43. A key player in five major tournaments and with 107 caps for England, Cole will focus on the men's player pathway and assist interim senior team coach Lee Carsley. Previously part-time since 2021, his permanent role may bolster Carsley's prospects to succeed Gareth Southgate as head coach.
