Montreal Alouettes wide receiver Tyson Philpot, 24, will miss the remainder of the 2024 CFL season due to a foot injury sustained in Week 10. He underwent surgery to insert a screw in his foot and will have another surgery to remove it soon. Philpot ranks seventh in the CFL with 779 receiving yards and five touchdowns this season. He is expected to return for training camp in 2025 after accumulating 1,770 yards and 12 touchdowns in three seasons.
