A 73-year-old man died in a car accident in Marion County, Florida, on Thursday around 5 p.m. His Toyota Corolla veered off Baseline Road, entered a grassy area, and struck a tree in the woods. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
