Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, were shot near KIPP DC Legacy College Preparatory in Southeast Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning. The boys, who were not shot on school grounds, sought help at the school and were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The school is in secure status as police investigate, searching for a black truck with California plates believed to be involved. Public assistance is requested for information.
