A 17-year-old boy was arrested by the National Crime Agency in Walsall on September 5 for his role in a cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL) that began on September 1. The breach potentially exposed the personal data of around 5,000 customers, including bank account details. TfL is collaborating with the NCA and the National Cyber Security Centre to investigate and mitigate risks, while affected customers will be directly contacted.
