Vidor Police officers Michael Stephenson and Ashton Moss are being recognized as heroes after rescuing two children, ages 7 and 9, from a burning home in Vidor, Texas, on September 10. Responding to a report of a fire with children trapped inside, the officers quickly removed a window air conditioning unit to access the boys' room. They successfully pulled the children to safety just before flames engulfed the area. Both were treated for smoke inhalation.
