360 patients, including 250 in emergency departments, waited for beds in Irish hospitals on Friday.

On Friday morning, 360 patients were waiting for beds in Irish hospitals, as reported by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO). Among these, 250 were in emergency departments and 110 in other wards. University Hospital Limerick faced the most significant overcrowding, with 67 patients on trolleys, followed by University Hospital Galway with 55 and Cork University Hospital with 49, including 45 in its emergency department.
