Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has lodged a complaint with India’s Lokpal against SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch, alleging misconduct and quid pro quo arrangements that could threaten national interests. The complaint follows claims by Hindenburg Research regarding Buch’s alleged conflicts of interest tied to her investments in offshore funds linked to the Adani Group. Both Buch and her husband deny the allegations, calling them baseless.
