The Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) has renewed a ban on advertisements for churches, traditional healers, and unverified herbal medicines, citing public safety concerns. BAZ CEO Tendai Kapumha emphasized that such ads mislead the public, following reports of harm from unverified treatments. While advertisements are prohibited, discussions on these topics are still allowed, provided they do not include promotional content.
