The Afghan Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has launched a water supply network and filtration plant in Kabul, funded by UNICEF. Costing over $518,000, the project aims to deliver clean drinking water to 1,290 families in the Sarobi district. Additionally, 10 projects in Paktia province will benefit 2,000 rural families. These initiatives address severe water shortages exacerbated by years of drought in Afghanistan.
