A 30-year-old woman in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was fatally struck by an 18-wheeler on Interstate 359 after exiting her vehicle following a one-car accident early Wednesday morning. Her car had come to rest in the middle lane after the initial crash. She was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center but later died from her injuries. The Tuscaloosa Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. The victim's identity has not been disclosed.
