Colt Gray, a 14-year-old student, allegedly concealed a semiautomatic assault rifle in his backpack and brought it to Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, on September 4. After leaving his second-period class, he hid in a bathroom before opening fire, resulting in the deaths of two students and two teachers, with additional injuries. Gray's mother had expressed concerns about his behavior to the school, while his father faces charges for providing access to the weapon.
