A rare 25p coin from 1981, resembling a 20p piece, will be auctioned for £500 to £700 in September. Produced by the Royal Mint as a trial piece during the change from 10-sided to seven-sided coins, only about 50 of these coins are believed to exist. Featuring a shield and the Sovereign's Orb, this ultra-rare item has attracted significant interest from collectors. The auction will take place in Wiltshire.
