Microsoft has appointed Carolina Dybeck Happe, former GE CFO, as its new Chief Operations Officer. Reporting to CEO Satya Nadella, she will join the senior leadership team amid Microsoft's push to lead in artificial intelligence and cloud services, competing with Amazon. Dybeck Happe is expected to enhance business processes and drive AI transformation, filling a role that has been vacant since 2016.
