Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas begins guided tours led by former wardens and corrections officers.

The Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas, infamous for the execution of "In Cold Blood" murderers Richard Hickock and Perry Smith, will begin offering guided tours led by former wardens and corrections officers. The prison, which began housing inmates in the 1860s, was repurposed after the new facility opened in 2020. Tours will run Fridays through Sundays until October 26, and will resume in spring after a winter break due to lack of heat and electricity.
