Joanna Turner has been appointed executive headteacher of Gig Mill Primary School, part of the Hales Valley Academy Trust. With 23 years in education, including 12 as a headteacher, she previously led Lapal Primary to an Outstanding Ofsted rating and improved Woodside Primary to Good. Turner plans to enhance Gig Mill’s nursery services offering 30 hours of free childcare and aims to create an inspiring curriculum for students' holistic development.
