India and China discuss resuming suspended direct commercial flights due to COVID-19.

India and China are in talks to resume direct commercial flights, suspended since the COVID-19 pandemic. Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu and Chinese official Song Zhiyong discussed this during the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference in New Delhi. Prior to the suspension, over 500 direct flights operated monthly. These discussions aim to restore travel connectivity amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
