Hungary plans to sue the European Commission for reimbursement of around €2 billion spent on securing the EU's external borders. Prime Minister Viktor Orban's chief of staff, Gergely Gulyas, highlighted that Hungary has not received financial support from the EU, unlike other member states. This legal action follows the European Court of Justice's ruling requiring Hungary to pay a €200 million fine for violating asylum rules.
