Google Home is set to introduce a "Vacation Mode" feature, allowing users to automate smart devices while away, simulating human presence for security. This mode will let users schedule specific dates for device operation, such as controlling lighting and blinds. Although currently non-functional, the feature aims to enhance home automation alongside improved Matter integration. A rollout is anticipated with the upcoming Android 15 update.
