Dow Inc. cuts Q3 revenue forecast to $10.6B due to Texas plant issue and rising input costs.

Dow Inc. has lowered its third-quarter revenue forecast to approximately $10.6 billion, down from $11.1 billion, due to an unplanned issue at its ethylene plant in Texas and rising input costs in Europe. CEO Jim Fitterling noted the incident, which occurred in late July, led to production losses. The company also anticipates operating earnings of $1.3 billion, falling short of analysts' expectations. Dow's shares dropped 2.9% in premarket trading.
